Professional book block design gives you the choice between four different layout alternatives covering the requirements of the different genres. All of them ensure optimum readability. If you use Professional, please submit your manuscript as *.doc or *.rtf files with minimum formatting.

Please also follow the instructions below:

 

• Use templates or uniform format settings if possible
• Ignore word separations, counting page numbers, or type areas
• Use the automatic page break function
• We will place paragraphs (¶) exactly where you have inserted them in the manuscript
• Your manuscript must not contain any manually inserted separations, centring by means of blank spaces, or graphic elements
• Do not use any unfamiliar typefaces (e.g. Cyrillic or a mathematical typeface)
• If your document contains footnotes, these are placed as endnotes at the end of each chapter
• If your manuscript is to contain graphics elements, show exactly where they should be placed in the text and save them in separate files with the appropriate names
• Illustrations must be saved as TIF files with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (colour profile: RGB). Line art requires a minimum of 1,200 dpi
• Please convert colour illustrations which are not to be printed in colour into greyscales before submitting them
